Duty
You know that episode of Friends where Chandler's boss keeps repeating the word duty, and Chandler nearly explodes laughing? Because "duty" is like "doodie"?It's totally destroyed discussions of negligence for me. I clearly have the maturity of a 7-year-old.

So funny that you thought this...I'm not even in your section but I definitely giggled to myself in torts today for the EXACT same reason. Glad I have someone else that shares my sense of humor!
it happens
I thought I was going to die laughing when we did duty in torts. I've graduated and have a real job and the word still makes me giggle.
Three words: "attenuation of taint."
