I hate Target.

So, even though I needed to be studying for my torts final this morning, I also needed to do my Christmas shopping. Problem: I hate shopping, I hate malls, and I especially hate them during the Christmas season. Solution: The internet. Or so one would think, right?

I spent two hours on Target.com, picking presents, making sure the only presents I picked were available to ship within 24 hours, that type of thing. Only to find that for some reason, the Web site wouldn't let me enter in that I needed two-day shipping. The earliest date that I could guarantee getting my presents here by was December 27th.

So I called the customer service people. Why can't I get expedited shipping? Oh, sorry Lioness, but Friday was the last day to order and have things guaranteed by Chistmas eve. Uberpwned!

Me and Target are no longer on speaking terms.

That totally sucks. Since my last final is on the 21st I also resorted to online shopping. Give Amazon a try!

Last year, our last final was due on the 23rd. That sucked more for my family than for me. After all, I wasn’t the one getting gifts purchased at a truck stop. Yosemite Sam mud flaps anyone?

How many years has it been common knowledge not to order online like 9 days before Christmas and hope to have it shipped on time?

For Shame Lioness.

I am employed by Amazon.com... which powers the Target.com website, meaning that we also supply the customer service to the Target.com site, actually Target.com is my specialty. In other words im the "evil" person that says "Thank you for calling Target.com my name is blah blah how can I help you today?" in all honesty... did you really expect with all of the holiday shipping going on, that you would be able to receive your order by freaking Christmas??!?!?!?! Especially when placing the damn thing less than a WEEK before?? Get a grip. Oh and FYI, the website clearly stated that Friday was the last day to get items by Christmas. SORRY. That's what you get for being a lazy, last minute, HATE EVERYTHING, holiday party pooper. Talking to ppl like you the whole week before Christmas is what ruined my holiday spirit. The more you call... the more of an ass I am to the next moron who ends up on the other end of my headset. Get intouch with reality and bring your ass to a store if you want instant gratification. Furthermore, we really don't care when you say things like "I'm going to shop at WALMART" or the ever popular "I'LL NEVER SHOP AT TARGET AGAIN!" trust me, these statements make no impact what so ever. Concidering we process thousands of orders a day and less than 1/2 of 1% of the total orders placed EVER hit a road block... do you really think we care about you?

NO

-thanks.

The reason you shouldnt give your hard earned American cash to Target is because they refuse to even Sponser or donate to any cause relating to Veterans or Military. They will even take away insurance benfits to those who go overseas to fight for our freedom. The President of Target released a statement stating that programs such as the Veterans relief fund or even the Salvation Army does not meet the standards needed for Target to sponser or donate to. They wont even allow bell ringers to stand outside freezing to gather donations!! I dont care what they are selling, I will NEVER shop there for anything!! Your welcome Target for giving you the freedom to have this business and the right to refuse to help those that saved your lives!! Target doesnt deserve our business. We the American people are better than Target and can survive just fine without them. Please tell your friends and families not to shop there!! At least Walmart and Kmart support our troops and Veterans!!
